Metal and Ceramics Division
The Metal and Ceramics Division is comprised of two departments and encompasses seven groups. The Light Metal Department handles aluminum products and construction materials, while the Inorganic Materials Department handles ceramics and graphite materials. Both departments take advantage of their impressive expertise built up over the years, and use extensive networks to respond to the needs and objectives of our diverse customers.
Light Metal Dept.
Aluminum is notable as a metal for its recycling potential, and as an excellent construction material. The Light Metal Department supplies a wide range of commodities to diverse industries, thereby contributing to the support of modern lifestyles.
Aluminum is light but strong, and offers excellent recycling opportunities. Daily items supplied by the department include everything from aluminum foil to processed and cast final products. And, for civil engineering and construction projects, it supplies through its extensive network a wide range of products matching client needs.

Carbon Coated Foil
Carbon-coated aluminum foil is used to increase battery energy efficiency and lifespan. We hold patents on carbon coated foils. The company will move forward with the sale of foil to motor vehicle and battery manufacturers in Japan and other countries, supporting carbon neutral initiatives working for wholescale adoption of rechargeable lithium ion batteries (LiB) for electric vehicles.
Aluminum Products
Aluminum products are lighter than those made from steel or copper, and are used in the weight-conscious transportation sector, including for aircraft, ships, road vehicles, railway rolling stock, and containers. The department’s support extends from scrap metal to recycled base metals, responding to customer requirements for high demand aluminum cast goods, rolled products and more. Its aluminum recycling chain helps ameliorate environmental problems.
Materials for Construction and Civil Engineering Projects
Through its extensive network, the Light Metal Department supplies a wide range of commodities, including: (i) high performance piping material, for the plumbing of detached homes, condo buildings, large facilities and factories; and (ii) highly durable products for landscaping around houses, condos and more.
Light Metal Group
This group handles an extensive inventory of goods, from aluminum base metals to processed products and carbon coated aluminum foil.
The group’s ability to procure large quantities of aluminum materials, and its flexible network of diverse processors, enable it to respond accurately to its customers’ technically advanced requirements.

Materials and Piping Material Group
This group handles materials used for construction offering pleasant surroundings and safety for condos and renewal projects (plumbing, fire extinguishing piping, seismic isolation, etc.), as well as prefabricated products for low-labor construction projects at a time of labor shortages (labor-saving methods, minimum waste plumbing system supplies, etc.). It strives to use recyclable materials and reuse construction resources.
